Moseley 606 TX Part 1 - $8 part VS $70 part. Will it run?

I am working on getting a Moseley 606C STL transmitter back in shape for a radio station. The one I have is low on power, 3 watts instead of 6 watts. Sometimes this is caused by a weak RF pre-amp like the MAR4 in the Moseley 6000 series. I didn't want to spend a ton of money for the original TO99 case version of the SL560C and since it also comes in a much cheaper 8 pin DIP package I thought I would give it a try. Lets see if it will work.
