Heatwave In Rajasthan: BSF Jawan Roasts Papad On Bikaner’s Hot Sand As Temperature Soars

Rajasthan’s sweltering heat has reached 48 Degrees in some areas, especially near India-Pakistan Border regions in Barmer, Bikaner, and Jodhpur. A BSF jawan in the Bikaner district displayed the intensity of heat they are suffering by roasting a ‘papad’ on the hot sands of the Rajasthan desert area.

The video was shared on X with the caption, “Temperature soars to 47°C in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The sand along the International Border feels like a furnace, but our troopers serving the motherland stand strong.”

News agency PTI reports, it takes merely two minutes to fully roast a papad while an egg buried in the sand will be perfectly ‘boiled’ in about two hours.
