There were only 1359 Boss 429 Ford Mustangs made during the 69 - 70 period to comply for the minimum 500 engine homologation requirement of the iconic 429 Boss V8 engine for NASCAR racing. The Boss 429 Mustang is recognized as being one of the rarest and most highly valued muscle cars on the planet.
