2000 Public Libraries Act 50p, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Act, has a high mintage of 11,263,000, making it common in circulation.
While circulated examples are usually worth face value (50p), high-quality Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) versions can sell for around £7.
