In this episode of Go Pro with Eric Worre, I sit down with Lisa Cox.

I asked her to break down the perceptions that people have of Network Marketing. What do people THINK it is, as opposed to what it really is.

Lisa admits that, in this profession, many people have a negative impression going in, and it makes it much more difficult for people that could benefit from getting involved, to overcome their skepticism. She shares that in her hometown, she doesn’t believe that there is much respect for Network Marketers, and how it’s always bugged her.

Lisa talks about how she works just as hard, or harder than corporate women that go into the office to work, however because of the low opinion of Network Marketing, it’s not regarded as the same.

She and I enjoy more conversation on where this profession has gone wrong with things like over-pitching what Network Marketing really entails as a business to achieve success. We also discuss what we, as professionals, need to do in order to clean up the reputation that we may, rightly, have earned.
