NRL22 | New 2020 Bag Rule Demonstrated by Janae
Janae Frehner of Janae's Got A Gun, helps demonstrate the new 2020 NRL22 Season rule update (Section 5, Subsection C, Rule 1) on the Bag Rule as it pertains to the 1 piece of equipment allowed to be utilized...
"Depending on the stage, only a rifle with a bipod, sling and one piece of equipment may be used. The bipod is considered part of the rifle system and is always allowed, except for unsupported position of any kind. Equipment must be 9”x11”x7” or smaller. EQUIPMENT INCLUDES: BAGS, BAGS WITH ATTACHMENTS, SKID PLATES, BARRICADE BLOCKS, OR ATTACHED PLATES DESIGNED TO GIVE THE RIFLE A WIDER FOOTPRINT. Equipment may also be attached to the shooter. The following may never be used: additional bipods, tripods, or monopods. A sling is designed to provide a way to carry the rifle and also to assist in unsupported positional shooting. The sling may attach at 1 or 2 points to the rifle. It may have cuffs or adjustments to aid in unsupported positional shooting. Other than a body part, a sling may not be wrapped around an object for added stability. This rule (Section 5, Subsection C, Rule 1) is the only rule that may change during the course of the season. This is due to the creative nature of the shooters and manufacturers and how they constantly invent new ideas and products. If any change to this rule occurs, it will be added to the top of the monthly Course of Fire for the remaining months in the season for all to see."

ABOUT NRL22:
NRL22 is a division of the National Rifle League that was created to provide a way for shooters that are looking to get into the sport of precision rifle shooting the opportunity to do so without having to invest a lot of money in gear and travel. The NRL22 program is designed so that any facility with a 100 yard range can participate in local competitions to qualify and then move on to a National Championship.
NRL22 understands that the shooting community is fascinated with Precision Rifle, but most localities are not fortunate enough to have a 1000 yard range. However, nearly all localities have access to 100 yard ranges and most shooters own a 22 rifle. The monthly course of fire, NRL 22 Standard Target Package and Standard Barricades are all intended to be turn key solutions to simple, fun, and affordable Precision Rifle matches. Local clubs may use and submit scores for the monthly courses of fire to compete with the entire country.
