Canon 6d Mark ii DSLR Review | Is it a good camera? #canon6d2

The Canon 6d mark ii dslr got a lot of hate when it came out - but was that really fair? Today we're looking at whether the Canon 6d 2 stands up to the competition? Does it offer value for money? Is it worth it? In fact was the Canon 6d mark ii...and is, the Canon 6d mark ii a good camera?

I'm taking a look at Canon's much maligned 6d mark 2. Now part of Canons line up for half a decade. This is the camera that the haters love to hate. But is the hate fair?

The Canon 6d mark 2 actually has a lot going for it. A dslr camera that was the first Canon Full Frame camera body to have a fully articulating 'flip' screen. And still the only Canon DSLR camera body that offers this feature for a full frame sensor. But in the age of the mirrorless camera, does this now five year old camera have anything at all to offer in the marketplace? In a nutshell, is the Canon 6d Mark ii a DSLR that is still worth the money?

I doubt that anyone would describe this camera as perfect. But 5 years on from the release of the Canon 6d mark ii, with the competition that has since been launched, not just DSLR cameras but mirrorless cameras, from Canon, Sony, Nikon etc. we review this dslr camera, and decide whether the Canon 6d mark 2 is among the best dslr cameras.....or the worst. And whether it is still worth while.

Of course, in the modern era it has to be in comparison with the Canon R5 and the Canon R6. Both of which I have already reviewed. Having put the Canon R6 and the Canon R5 alongside some RF lenses through their paces in a real world shoot. I'm able to give an informed judgement on how the Canon 6d2 holds up, plus of course I have lots of experience with my other camera body, the Canon 5d mark iv to take into consideration when weighing up the the worth of the Canon 6d 2.
