November 20, 1971 - Ethel, Joan and Edward Kennedy at the graves of Robert and John F. Kennedy

Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy with six of her children and Senator Edward Kennedy's family paid tribute today at the grave of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy on the 47th anniversary of his birthday. The Kennedy clan arrived at Arlington National Cemetery in a large van and spent five minutes at the grave of the senator, then five minutes at the adjacent grave of the senator’s brother, President John F. Kennedy. At each grave the family left flowers and knelt offering individual prayers.
Among the children were Kerry, daughter of RFK; Lisa Shriner, friend; Kara, daughter of Edward; Carol Lynn, friend; Rory, daughter of RFK; Doug, son of RFK; Christopher, son of RFK; Max, son of RFK: Teddy Jr., son of Edward; Patrick, son of Edward and Michael, son of RFK.
