बंगाल में पहले दौर के मतदान के बाद अब बारी है दूसरे दौर के संग्राम की और दूसरे दौर के संग्राम में शामिल है. कोलकाता और हावड़ा भी और मैं इस वक्त खड़ा हूं हुगली नदी के बीचोंबीच और ठीक मेरे पीछे है ऐतिहासिक हावड़ा ब्रिज जिसका एक सिरा हावड़ा तो दूसरा सिरा कोलकाता को जोड़ता है। ठीक उसी तरीके से जैसे तमाम राजनीतिक दल यह चाहती है कि जनता उनसे जुड़ जाए क्योंकि जनता जिससे जुड़ेगी सरकार उसी की बनेगी। लेकिन हुगली नदी की एक खासियत है। खासियत ये है कि ये जितनी शांत दिखती है ना उतनी ही ये गहरी है। ठीक उसी तरीके से जैसे बंगाल के वोटर्स बहुत साइलेंट है। उनके मन में क्या चल रहा है किसी को नहीं पता। वो कहते हैं 4 तारीख को आपको पता चल जाएगा।कि क्योंकि इस चुनावी संग्राम में तमाम दल बहुत सारे दावे कर रहे हैं।

No one knows what is truly going on in their minds; as they themselves put it, "You will find out on the 4th"—especially given that, in this electoral battle, every political party is making a multitude of claims.
