Jennifer T. Anger, MD, MPH, (she/her) is a board-certified female pelvic medicine expert and reconstructive urology surgeon who is experienced in treating pelvic floor disorders in men and women. She is the only physician in San Diego who performs gender-affirming pelvic, or "bottom," surgery. Dr. Anger also serves patients who need repeat surgery (revision surgery). And she helps people who've had complications from other surgeries.
She leads the gender-affirming pelvic surgery program at UC San Diego Health and is part of the transgender care team. She also has expertise in robotic-assisted pelvic floor reconstruction.
Dr. Anger is committed to shared decision-making and a patient-centered approach to care. And she is dedicated to improving the quality of care and access for underserved populations, including aging women with pelvic floor disorders.
