PM Modi inaugurates multiple development projects in visit to kanpur
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, May 30, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 15 development projects in Kanpur.
The projects are worth over ₹47,600 crore and span transport, energy, water and connectivity sectors.
A key highlight was the launch of a new underground section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project.
Apart from infrastructure, Modi distributed cheques and certificates to beneficiaries of central welfare schemes.
These included PM Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana, National Livelihood Mission and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, and other leaders were present at the event.
