VLOG #10 - Upstate NY for the Weekend: The Catskills, Woodstock, Inness, Scribner's and more...

I know I've been MIA for a while, but I am BACK...and I bring to you a trip to Upstate NY during the Thanksgiving Weekend.

It was an improvised trip and everything was already overbooked, but we found a room at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saugerties and it was like new and very comfortable.

On our way to the hotel, we stoped by Woodbury Common (the Outlet) on a BLACK FRIDAY. I will never do that again! NEVER. 1 hour lines outside in the cold....yeah, I don't think so.
After we arrived to the hotel and checked-in, we went for an early dinner to Dimond Mills Hotel & Tavern (AMAZING food).

On the first day, Saturday, we drove through Woodstock, and made our way to the Kaaterskill Falls. It was very cold and the trail was very steep. If there's snow, you have to be extra careful to avoid anything dangerous happening. We then made our way to our lunch spot: Prospect, at Scribner's Lodge. It was a ski town and it made me want to grab a pair of skies and ride down the mountain. On our way back to Saugerties, we stopped by a Walmart and.. well.. just watch the video. We then had dinner at Cucina in Woodstock. SO GOOD.

On our second day, Sunday we visited the Saugerties Lighthouse and we then made our way to the new hotel in Accord, INNESS. One of the most beautiful places I've seen in a while. We had brunch and then drove to Cold Spring. A beautiful town where we found an Argentine coffee shop where I bought some Argentine tradition food to take home.

Overall it was an amazing trip and I wish I could've stayed there for a longer period of time. I will go back!
