QUEEN VISITS TORONTO 1959 8mm Film

The location is Toronto, the parade for the first 1min 20 seconds is the Shriners convention that was held in Toronto in the late 1950s.. Looks to be Bay and Front location. The second part of the film is shot from an office space in Union Station looking toward the Royal York Hotel (Look how filthy it is before the restoration). (Great Grandfather worked as a stationary Engineer for CN rail and would have had access to CN offices across the street

I'm not sure what remember of the Royal Family it is but it was brought to my attention this could be the Royal Visit 1959
