The Power of the Drum 🏵 Native American Pow Wow

🏵 Several Native American communities hold social gatherings called Pow Wow. Originally, the meaning of the word pow-wow was "spiritual leader", but nowadays a pow wow is a specific type of event for Native American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize and honor their cultures. Some pow wow events happen in one day while other major special occasion events can go as long as one week. The festivities mainly include participants who are dressed for the dances, those responsible for playing the instruments, and the audience.
