Ellen welcomed high school senior Skylar Hughes, who recently went viral with an emotional video of her visiting her late mother’s grave with her dad, James. The 17-year-old explained how she had hopes of getting into her dream school, Duke University, and wanted to open the admissions email together as a family. She and her dad talked with Ellen about their experience, and she received a generous gift from Shutterfly to help with her tuition at Duke!
