A touching moment, the orphan boy joins us in cleaning the church grounds
Hello, dear friends!
Today’s project takes us to the grounds of an old church that has been neglected for a long time. The church itself was relocated years ago, leaving the original site overgrown with tall grass and weeds, blocking the pathways. Local residents shared the story of the abandoned churchyard and invited us to help clean and restore the area.
While we were hard at work, something truly touching happened—a young boy came to join us. He told us he had lost his parents at a young age and was raised by his grandmother, who has cared for him since he was little. Living near the church, he often visits to help tidy up the grounds. The boy was so excited to see us there today and shared his story with us as we worked together.
The locals also showed their kindness by bringing us water and encouraging us during the cleanup. After finishing, we bought the boy a little gift: some food, a new hat to protect him from the sun, and a small amount of money to help him buy school supplies.
