In Chapter 1 of the Circle of Confusion I correct an important omission from my earlier video, "Bellows Basics", where I failed to discuss the very useful alternative focusing method known as "rear bellows focus". It's a really useful technique for larger subjects where perspective changes can ruin a stack performed with my typical focus rail techniques.
I also answer the question, "how do you clean a dirty insect without getting it wet". I demonstrate a couple of my favorite tricks and introduce you to a couple of handy gadgets that I use all the time. The first is this set of assorted fine brushes that I use for electrostatic dust removal. You can use any fine brush, but I like these because they are dirt cheap and do the job...
