Festive Newtonhill Pipe Band play on the march through Asda superstore in Portlethen Christmas 2023
A festive Newtonhill Pipeband march off playing through the aisles in Asda Portlethen. This was part of their festive fundraising on Saturday 23rd December 2023 and a chance to entertain Christmas shoppers during this busy time. This could also form a new game, scoring points for the decorations hit by the chanters as they pass.
The band are led by Pipe Major Domhnull McLennan and were playing a set including High Road to Gairloch, Brown Haired Maiden and Highland Laddie.
