Mount Everest is Earth's highest mountain above sea level, located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The China–Nepal border runs across its summit point. Its elevation of 8,848.86 m was most recently established in 2020 by the Nepali and Chinese authorities.

This is a great mission! The Infinity journey is the historical and miracle campaign on Mt. Everest. The best trip we'll never do again. A tale of real adventure. The plan was to accomplish the bring to 2 dead bodies and 18oo kg garbage from the top of the world. It was a historical and miracle campaign on Mt. Everest lead by Nyamgel Sherpa, Chakra Karki, PK Sherpa, and Suman Bangdel. It's the story of a Nepali sherpa and his team.

Mt. Everest, a name instantly recognized by millions around the world, has long been a symbol of Nepali pride. However, in recent times, the image of the mountain has been somewhat tarnished by news of the increasing numbers of oxygen bottles, old rope, flags, dead bodies, and other waste materials scattered along the climbing trails and at the summit itself, portraying a sad picture of a sacred mountain desecrated by human exploration.

The team of Sherpas from Extreme Everest Expedition who are upon a clean–up drive in the mountain helped to bring down the dead bodies from the Hillary Step to Camp 2 (6500m). While the Russian climber had died recently, the body of the Swiss climber had been lying at the South col since Spring, 2008.

Many Nepali and foreign climbers have tried to clean up the mountain in the past. In 2010 a team of Nepalese Sherpas made a journey to the highest reaches to clean up rubbish and retrieve the bodies of two climbers who died on the slopes.

The Extreme Everest Expedition, an all-Nepali team of 31 Sherpas, will now risk their lives to clear more than 2000 kgs of garbage from this very ‘Death Zone’. Led by late Namgyal Sherpa, they will brave the thin air and treacherous weather in a forty-day expedition starting 25 April 2010.

Alongside the cleaning camping, our team will spread awareness on Environmental Pollution, Climate Change, and the burning need to clean our planet and the environment around us. In doing this, it will also help promote Nepal tourism year 2011 and which make this film by the Sherpa team in Nepal.

Officials cannot say how much rubbish there is on the slopes of Mount Everest. Climbers say the higher they go, the more littered the mountain.
