Programming is Thinking, Not Just Coding

Programming is about thinking, not just coding. When we think about programming, the first thing that comes to mind is a person typing away on their keyboard at what seems to be a million miles per hour.

But the reality is, programming requires a lot of thinking about the problem in front of you, and then planning a solution to that problem.

Programming is an artform where you decompose a problem into smaller parts, and then try and solve those smaller parts.

In this video I share with you my thoughts on why Programming is not just typing code into your editor or IDE, rather, programming is a process that has multiple steps, ideally before you even write your first line of code.
