When it comes to adding a camera to my stream I made a few other mistakes as well, first, my camera position would hide my face behind these little bits in the thumbnail, and I positioned it on the left making it hard for viewers to see chat and camera at the same time, so add a camera if you can and position it on the right.

BUT the biggest issue was I had terrible lighting, and this is a guy who's worked in the film industry for 6 years, I didn’t take it seriously, I only had bad lighting for a week before I moved my desk back from the wall and added in lights to make the shot better.

How To Make Your USB Mic Sound Good

The next big mistake is something that while I personally didn’t make it, a lot of new streamers do because it is just a very foreign concept to them, and that is having bad audio.

There's a saying in the film industry that audio is 60% of a film, but when it comes to streaming this goes even further because often people just throw you on in the background.

First things first, I would recommend picking up a cheap USB microphone, now I use a USB microphone as well, I use the AT2020+ so it’s not fancy but with these tips, you can make it sound good.

Second, level your audio in your computer settings first and then level it in your broadcast software. If you don’t know what leveling is, it is the term used when adjusting the sensitivity of your microphone and it affects how loud you are.

The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Ashnichrist in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like Wild4games and Nutty.
