Dry Cutting Long Layers

Here a quick video of #drycutting #longlayers with my @fitzyshears.

I direct all the hair to a stationary guide in the center 90 degrees from the round of the head. I then create a concave shape by the way I swing my finger position. This will keep your "thin" areas of the hair very full and keep thickness throughout the exterior while still giving shape and movement.

I'm using the the FF5 slightly offset thumb shear because its designed to reduce your wrist from tilting when point cutting. This happens with this cutting technique because you want to tilt the wrist back to reduce your chance of carpal tunnel.

For her color, we wanted to be at a level 3 but with frizz and porosity issues I formulated darker to create more shine and longevity. We ended loving it❣

Ends- 25g 3, 5g 1, 45g 6.5% Coloring
