►SCRIPT

So before we begin let me just let you know that Sync, Quantize and Keylock are Off for both decks. The only things we’ll be manipulating here are the jog wheels, cue points and volume faders. That’s it!

Now before we proceed to the 1st step of doing this DJ routine, please ensure the DJ Edit is loaded on both of your decks, bring your tempo faders to their neutral position, and bring Deck 2’s volume fader all the way down.

So Step 1 of this DJ routine is to play the 1st song via Cue Point A on Deck 1 , then, once you reach the 41 second mark over here, trigger and play Deck 2’s Cue Point B, and make sure to jogwheel it to be in Sync with the other deck.

Step 2. Once you’ve ensured your tracks are in sync, bring the Deck 2’s volume fader up and down, till the 51 second mark. Once there, leave the volume fader up.

Then once you reach the last 4 beats of Deck 2’s Cue Point B Section, backspin Deck 1 and bring its volume fader all the way down.

Step 3. With Deck 1’s volume fader all the way down, once Deck 2’s drop hits, trigger and play Deck 1’s Cue Point C Section.

Once you do that, we’ll be ready now to do the double drop mix section in this DJ routine.

So with both tracks choruses playing, this’ll be the time to play around with the volume faders of each respective deck. So follow this volume fader cutting pattern for 32 beats

Step 4. So once you’re done double drop mixing, we’ll now start doing our Cue Point Drum routine with Cue Points D, E and F.

So with Deck 1’s volume fader all the way up, you’ll be triggering Cue Point E and F, and on Deck 2 simultaneously, you’ll just be triggering Cue Point D.

So this’ll be the pattern we’ll be following for 12 beats *Demo*

Once you’re done following that pattern, bring Deck 1’s volume fader all the way down, and trigger Deck 2’s Cue Point G.
