Columbia Wrightsville - World's Longest Bridge 1814, Civil War Battle, Forgotten Super Structure PA

This was the first video I made on hidden history back in 2019. I never uploaded it, but have always wondered if people would be interested. With the recent upsurge in views on my channel, I have decided to earnestly upload this video in hopes it sparks someone else's interests.

The original bridge, a "Dutch Amish" style covered bridge (yet the base is constructed with masonry), was built over the Susquehanna River from 1812-1814. It was the World's Longest Covered Bridge, complete with windows, and fully decorated for leisure on the inside. It measured well over one mile long, standing over the running water of the Susquehanna River.

Also, The information on the Civil War is very convoluted, but that's the point - as we have no definitive details of what happened to the 2nd bridge. The "burning" of the Bridge in Lancaster, PA would be considered by many to be the northern most "battle" of the Civil War.
