This powerful talk is about love, the connection between fear and hate, and a making a difference. Dr. Eli Green tells his personal story of what it means to be transgender and shares tools for standing up for transgender people and creating a more fair and equitable world.

For the past 16 years, Dr. Eli Green has been teaching people about transgender identities and experiences with the goal of creating a safer and more affirming world for transgender people. He is the founder of the Transgender Training Institute, a company that provides curricula, train-the-trainer courses, and technical assistance and coaching for current educators and trainers. Dr. Green co-authored The Teaching Transgender Toolkit: A Facilitator’s Guide to Increasing Knowledge, Reducing Prejudice & Building Skills.
