Sameed's talk offers reflections on his personal experiences in a local care home. He asks us to reflect upon our perceptions of charity and motivations for volunteering with an aim to encourage young people to take a more active role in social care. Polar opposites? Sameed has had an interesting upbringing, the first 9 years spent in Pakistan, the next 8 in England, and this has impacted significantly on his understanding of himself, his beliefs and outlook. He is often occupied wondering how his life would be different if he hadn’t experience either one of those societies. A super talented young man with a brain full of perspective.
