Guatape town is one of the 115 towns that surround the city of Medellin, hidden between the mountains like all of our towns in Antioquia, each one is dedicated to something different and known for a certain particularity.

Guatape happens to be the most colorful of all, also called the TOWN OF THE ZOCALOS, zocalo is the bottom part of the wall, looks like each house has a painting on their entrance. Part of this town was also flooded so it created one of the most beautiful views of the world, that you can perceive from the top of the Rock of El Peñol or Guatapé, that is another interesting thing, a giant rock that simply just pops out of the mountains.
