What is Groe parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:00am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at Groe Park, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3BL. See Course page for more details.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time.
How fast do I have to be?
We all take part for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

Course Description
The course starts at the pathway at the far end of the car park, then follows an anti-clockwise direction and covers just over three laps.
Facilities
Toilets are located in the main car park.
Getting There
Location of start
The event starts at the pathway at the far end of the car park.
Getting there by public transport
Bus: The bus station is 50 yards from the start point and is immediately next to the car park exit.
Train: The nearest train station is Builth Road, 2.7 miles away, along the A470 into Builth Wells, then follow signs to parking.
Getting there on foot
Groe Park is in the town centre, just 100 yards from the main (only) high street.
Getting there by road
The postcode will direct you to the town’s main car park, which is located in the town centre, postcode LD2 3DW or follow signs for parking. Pay and Display car park available immediately next to the start and finish points.
