summer ‘19 through my eyes

I’m not sure this video will mean much to anyone else other than the select few beautiful faces you’ll see in it... nonetheless I hope my little summer can make you feel something. I hope you can feel the love and the passion and the happiness that bleed through my bones these past couple months. I haven’t felt like crying over the summer ending until this very moment I’m writing this. It’s all just a bit bittersweet. I cry in the winter mourning for summer days and to think they’ve all come and gone in just about the loveliest way I’ve ever experienced so far... makes my insides glow. The amount of dreamy days I’ve had this summer are far more than I can count... I think that’s a great privilege. All the sleepovers, dock dates, ice cream filled nights, and singalong car rides with my girl gang could last me half a lifetime. I am so thankful for friends like them. For days like the ones we got to have. Thanks for living out all my summer dreams with me. Thanks for being alive at the same time as me. I don’t want to be sad over summer ending... because nothing really has to change. We have a whole 9 months of adventures and car rides and sleepovers and dancing to get to. I can’t even imagine what we’ll get ourselves into. This summer was everything and more. I’m filled to the brim. My skin is sticky and sweet like honey. My cheeks are strained red and my tongue blue from popsicles. I became apart of the celestial beauty I so adore. Until we meet again in June. Goodbye dear summer. Love, audrey.
