Apple Lisa CRT Replacement

Replacing the burnt in original CRT with a NOS one on my Lisa 2/5.

This machine spent a LOT of time in MacWorks, specifically running MacWrite, and has the (all white) editing window burnt into the CRT, along with the MacOS title bar and trash can icon.

The original Lisa CRT uses a P7 Phosphor, which is a 2 level phosphor. The underlying color is green, which excites a blue phosphor The green is long persistence. The CRT I installed is a P4 phosphor, short persistence white.

Here's another video showing a healthy P7 phosphor CRT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZumwXS4fJo
And here's a PDF that details the many different types of CRT phosphor: http://www.bunkerofdoom.com/tubes/crt/crt_phosphor_research.pdf

For once, a video without me talking all through it. I had oral surgery last week, so my speech is still a little slurred. I tried to put captions in wherever I thought it wasn't clear what I was doing.

Thanks for watching!
