If you have upgraded your house to energy efficient light bulbs, you might wonder what to do with those old bulbs.
To throw them away or to not throw them away - that's the question!
In this video I show you how to hollow out a light bulb as well as different things you can make from the light bulbs.

Warning: The bulbs are fragile and can can easily break.

To make the corkscrew, I had to melt Instamorph moldable plastic in the oven.

It took a while until Instamorph granules melted together.
I was melting it for more than an hour.

Some extra info:

I used "high temperature resistant" sealant to attach the washer to the bottom of the bulb. It suppose to resist temperatures up to 1000c.
You can get high temperature glues and sealents from your local hardware shop. If you don't glue the washer, it not a big deal.
Just don't leave the light bulb oil lamp unattended.
