Vaclav Smil - Scientist Is A Wealth of Information While Covering Several Unique Subjects
They used to say Goethe was the last person in the world who knew everything there was to know. Whoever said that never spoke with Vaclav Smil. He seems to know something about almost everything, ranging from global energy to Egyptian hieroglyphics (which he likes to study in his spare time). Vaclav has quite the list of professional interests, environmental, energy, food, population, economic and public policy studies. He's written 20 books and had 250 articles published, and his list of languages even outnumbers his list of interests. Vaclav covers a wide variety of topics including, amino acids, nitrogen, proteins, chimpanzees and meat eating, and where we get our meat eating propensity from.
