રાજકોટનો ઐતિહાસિક લોકમેળો સતત બીજા વર્ષે ચર્ચામાં આવ્યો છે કારણકે લોકમેળાનું સ્થળ જો અને તો વચ્ચે ચકડોળે ચડ્યું છે.. આ વર્ષે લોકમેળો ક્યાં યોજાશે તે હજુ નક્કી નથી.. રેસકોર્સ ગ્રાઉન્ડમાં યોજાશે કે પછી 150 ફૂટ રોડ પર તેને લઈને હજુ કોઈ સ્પષ્ટતા નથી થઈ.. જો કે આ અંગે ખુદ રાજકોટ જિલ્લા કલેકટર પ્રભવ જોશીએ કહ્યું હતું કે નવા 150 ફૂટ રીંગ રોડ ઉપર જમીન સમતળ કરવા માટે સરકાર પાસે ગ્રાન્ટની માંગણી કરી છે. ગ્રાન્ટ સમયસર આવી જશે તો લોકમેળો નવા 150 ફૂટ રીંગ રોડ ઉપર યોજાશે.
