Conversation With a Mule
“CONVERSATION WITH A MULE” by Walter Brennan
The down home common sense and folksy wisdom of Walter Brennan shines through in this great piece he wrote and sung. “ …… Ole mule, you’re the son of a jackass, and I'm the image of God. Yet here we work hitched together a toiling and a tilling the soil. I wonder if you work for me, or if I work for you old mule”
Walter Brennan (July 25, 1894 - September 21, 1974) was an accomplished Hollywood actor, songwriter, and singer and TV star. He is best remembered for his role as “Grandpa Amos” in the TV series “The Real McCoy’s.”
