Bansko is home to a number of cultural monuments and history buffs will revel in the architecture -- simply walking the cobblestone streets of the historic centre and looking at the traditional houses which date back centuries is a feast for the senses. The local art school, with its unique icon collection is also a great place to regenerate ones cultural soul. And yet, when all is said and done, Bansko is also a modern ski town ready to provide residents and tourists alike with all that they need to make their stay convenient and comfortable.
