Another experimental contact microphone instrument
made mostly from found objects. a lot of the components can be tuned freely using magnets (you‘ll need the neodymium ones) or other techniques. there‘s some pics of the instrument on my insta, link below. between instrument and speakers there‘s some saturation, compression and pitch shifting going on. I‘ll upload more videos of this instrument soonish, this one was intended to show the playing technique i do with my left hand: bringing the tine (weighted with a magnet) into motion, so it moves up and down. while it‘s moving, i let it bounce on my fingers, which creates those kind of rhythmic, tonal sounds.
