जम्मू-कश्मीर के कुलगाम में सेना से बचने के लिए आतंकी मददगार इम्तियाज अहमद ने नदी में छलांग लगाई, जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। वह पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के सिलसिले में हिरासत में लिया गया था। पूछताछ के दौरान, उसने सुरक्षाबलों को आतंकियों के ठिकानों की जानकारी दी। जब सुरक्षाबल उसे ठिकानों की पहचान के लिए ले जा रहे थे, तो उसने भागने की कोशिश की और पास की नदी में कूद गया। तेज बहाव के कारण वह डूब गया।
