Remembrance Sunday 2019: The March to the Cenotaph

Some clips of the Navy, Army and Air Force bands marching from Wellington Barracks along Birdcage Walk on the way to the Cenotaph in Whitehall for the 2019 Remembrance Service on the morning of Remembrance Sunday in the UK - 10 November in 2019.

Taking part are four Guards Bands from the Household Division as well as bands from the Royal Marines and the Royal Air Force. Also seen are the pipers and drummers of The Highlanders.

Also seen are the London Transport Old Comrades who were given the right to march by King George V who granted this honour to the London General Omnibus Company in 1920 in recognition of the services rendered by the men who drove buses to the front line in France in 1915. They are the only civilian group allowed to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph as well as march along side the armed forces in the annual Sunday Remembrance Day parade.
