Raspberry Pi Network Attached Storage with Data Redundancy

In this video we install and configure Greyhole on a Raspberry Pi. The video is part of a series of posts about setting up a Network-Attached Storage solution (NAS) with data redundancy. It is intended for home use with a limited number of users.

The entire series of posts can be found under https://mpr-projects.com/index.php/2023/11/13/building-a-raspberry-pi-nas-with-data-redundancy-part-1-overview/ . It contains a lot of information that's useful when setting up a NAS (or when learning about computers in general). The first post in particular gives a good overview of this project.

A quick comment about option 'nofail' in the file system table (fstab):
With the option 'nofail' our storage drives may not be mounted automatically on boot, even if they are connected. To ensure that they do get mounted open cron with `sudo crontab -e` and add the line `@reboot mount -a`.
