Shannon Class Lifeboat Trials at Dungeness - June 2012

The first production Shannon Class Lifeboat, later numbered 13-01, was sent to Dungeness along with the first Supacat Launch Vehicle, in June 2012 for trials and testing. Dungeness later became the first UK Lifeboat Station to have their own Shannon Class Lifeboat in February 2014, when 13-02 RNLB The Morrell, arrived on station.
