Hey guys, welcome to my channel. Today I will be showing you how to make quilted or patch work using Ankara fabrics.

To start with ,I cut up 7 different fabrics into 7.5 inches square. To make your squares even,make sure your fabric is well ironed and flat.

Once I have cut up the squares: go over to the sewing machine and start joining . I make rolls of 7 squares each before joining the rolls together to firm my quilted fabric.

You can decide to make your squares larger or smaller depending on the effect you are going for.

After joining all the pieces you need to iron to have your beautiful patched fabric.

How much fabric you need to cut depends on what you want go make with the quilted fabric.

You can use ankara fabrics or any fabric of your choice to make your patch work.
