This is my interpretation of my favourite work by Manuel de Falla. I worked this work with spanish masterpianist Josep Colom in Madrid. During my studies with him I learned a lot about connections with andalousian chant and arts. Josep Colom is my main model for rubato playing. Each rubato is different, each phrase speak for itself.

There is a lot of controversy around publishing editions, manuscript and early scripts in Manuel de Fallas work. For that reason I went personally to the Manuel de Falla Museum to compare the different sources for this piece. I met Manuel de Falla niece there!
