In this video we:
- Install Cinemachine
- Add a virtual camera
- Configure a 3rd Person Virtual Camera
- Configure Cinemachine Brain to play nice with physics, rigidbodies, and the fixed update loop
- Setup collidable and transparent layers for the camera to interact with
- Increase the gamepad default minimum deadzone to eliminate controller drift
Re-uploaded after removing keyboard key clacking. Had to re-record some audio bits so that's why my voice is kind of all over the place.
This video is part of a series of videos for a custom Unity 3D character controller that utilizes rigidbody physics, cinemachine cameras, Unity's new input system, and custom player gravity.
