Will Garment Sets (legendary animals) work with Never without one in RDR 2 online?

Can Never without one ability card protect you if you have garment set from legendary animals in red dead online equiped? Garment sets were added in red dead online with the naturalist update and they have hoods, so NWO should work, but does it? Lets test and find out!
