TRUMP AGAINST FUNDING USPS, LINKS TO MAIL-IN VOTING: White House Press Sec. Kayleigh McEnany holds a press briefing. Earlier today, Pres. Trump said that he opposes further funding the U.S. Postal Service because it would help mail-in voting for the November election. ‘They want three and a half billion dollars for something that'll turn out to be fraudulent, that's election money basically. They want three and a half billion dollars for the mail-in votes. Universal mail-in ballots,’ Trump told Fox News. Trump has continually touted mail-in voting as fraudulent, despite providing no evidence. He recently said that Florida specifically has a trustworthy mail-in voting system— the state where Trump himself votes by mail.
