Hi, I'm Leah. This video is the first of my Spondylolisthesis (Spondy) Journey. I am a competitive gymnast and I just recently turned 13. I was diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis shortly after I turned 12. I tried many different treatments but remained in pain. Now, Spondylolisthesis Surgery for the unstable slipped vertebrae in my back is the only option. My Spinal Fusion Surgery is scheduled for August 31, 2016.

Before I made this video, I was able to find a lot of information and videos about kids and athletes with Scoliosis, but I wasn't able to find much about Spondylolisthesis. So, I made this video for all of the kids, adults, athletes, and parents of people who have Spondylolisthesis. I am nervous and scared. But I have my Faith in God and I know my surgery and recovery will go well. I hope this video helps anyone going through the same thing as me. Feel free to ask me questions.
