How To Secure a Tight Head Control in the Clinch | Namsaknoi Muay Thai

The inside clinch position is one of the most dominant positions to control your opponent’s balance. Do you know what to do once you get your arms on the inside?

Here I show you a variation of the double collar tie. Notice how my hands are positioned in this video. Secure the lock by connecting your inner wrists together, and bend your fists downwards. Put your head against your wrists to close up any remaining space, as you tighten your arms and elbows into your body.

Remember - do not interlace your fingers or join palms. You won’t be able to do that with gloves on in a fight.

If you get the technique right, your opponent will be trapped like a rat without much effort. Then you bring on the rain of knees!
