Strange Serge/GAL Hydraulic Lifts at 175 Memorial Highway in New Rochelle, NY

This is an epic bank of old Serge elevators, but they have since received a slight bizarre fixture replacement. The fixtures are now some strange Serge/GAL replacement that I have never seen before. Does anyone know what these are? And yes, I am aware of the MAD call button on the lobby. Everything else is still original. Also, this place was built in the 1930s so these were clearly added on.
