What to do in the capital of Jordan, Amman? And is it even safe? I had 4 days to explore the area so I went to the citadel in Amman and just wandered around downtown. Also I took a day trip to the Dead Sea to confirm if one really floats. The other day, I went to Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman cites.
Finally I hung out with a local who I randomly met.
