set your fence to match the outside height of the box, run all 4 edges against the fence, cut the extra pieces out of the corners with a sharp
chisel or hobby knife and you're ready for glue (we recommend two passes…one at nearly full depth and a second dialed in to leave the tiniest
possible sliver at the apex of the miter).
